Returns Policy

All refund rights under both State and Commonwealth law apply. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Read the following carefully to ensure you are fully aware of your rights under the policy and our obligations to you.


Please choose carefully as we do not give refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision. awpl will accept returns and provide you with an exchange, repair, or refund (provided using original payment method) where:

-The item is faulty or is not of acceptable quality¹, or

-The item is not fit for its intended purpose, or

-The product does not match the sample or our description; and

-You can present an awpl receipt or other adequate proof of purchase

Replacements & Repairs

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure (as defined by section 260 of the Australian Consumer Law). You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and failure does not amount to a major failure. If the failure is minor, we reserve our right to offer to repair only. We reserve the right to not offer a refund or an exchange.

We reserve the right to send any returned product to the manufacturer or the manufacturer’s repair agent to determine the nature of the problem. In these circumstances, we will not provide any refund, exchange, or substitute goods until the manufacturer has assessed the product. We reserve the right not to offer an exchange, refund or repair where the item fault is a result of misuse or neglect.

Goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair goods.


If you have changed your mind or made a wrong decision, awpl offers an exchange for the item(s) you are returning. For awpl to process your exchange, we require the item(s) to be returned to your nearest awpl store in its original condition:

-Tags still attached






-With all original packaging

-Within 7 days of purchase

The following items are excluded from returns unless the product is returned within the same business day, or unless the product is faulty:

-Produce (including honey and nougat)

Please note that purchased goods are the responsibility of the customer. Goods seized by Customs in Australia, New Zealand, or other countries are not the responsibility of awpl, and no refunds or replacements will be available. Please check your destination country or carrier for legal and other requirements for any goods before purchase.

¹ If item was clearly identified as faulty, defective or marked in any way and the reason the item was faulty, defective or marked in any way was specifically drawn to your attention at time of purchase by a written notice displayed with the item (including samples and seconds), the item is not able to be refunded or exchanged due to those pre-existing faults, defects, or markings, as per the Australian Consumer Law.
