As restrictions ease across most states and Victoria goes into lockdown 2.0, the health and safety of our people and customers is our number one priority. To assist with this transition, the few stores we have been able to open, have had precautionary measures put in place to help maintain a healthy and safe environment.
Our key focus measures are:
Staff in stores maintain a 1.5-meter distance from each other and our customers in store to respect social distancing requirements. For your safety, each store has a maximum capacity limit which will be visible in each store.
Other methods to help prevent the spread will be:
- Non-cash payments
- Point of sale standing markers to guide you when waiting in queue for your transaction to be processed.
The team are educated to frequently wash and sanitise their hands throughout the day, before their shift, and before & after their breaks.
Where available, hand sanitiser has also been provided for customers.
Anyone feeing unwell is advised not enter the store, stay at home and get tested.
At the start and end of each day the stores will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitised, and frequently used items like benchtops, EFTPOS and POS machines are safe for staff and customers to touch.
Staying well & informed:
awpl is keeping up to date with government updates and is vigilant in adhering to all recommended safety measures and precautions.
We also encourage our team to look after their own wellbeing and share initiatives within our community to promote this. By doing so, as a collective we can give more, love more, serve more, and shine more brightly than ever.
While it will be long road to recovery, together we will come out the other side.
Stay safe and be kind.
